About Me
I am a painter, writer and designer. Originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I am now based in New Orleans. I am a self-taught artist. My mother used to say we were the cheapest kids to raise because all we ever wanted were paper and colored pencils.
Art is an expression, it is a way to connect with people, it is meditation and universal communication. To put it simply, I love creating fun and beautiful things that are visually delightful and enjoyable.
When I am not painting, writing or plotting to take over the world, I spend my time cooking, playing music and wishing I had a bigger kitchen.
Philosophy
I believe that good art and design should be egalitarian and democratic - accessible to all to appreciate and enjoy. We should all listen to our instincts and our gut feeling and trust it as much as we can. We should never stop being curious about things. We are all capable of bringing something good to this world, even something as simple as making a friend laugh. We should be kind to people and all animals great and small.
